Flovent (Fluticasone) : Asthma

Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you had sick or had an infection of any type. The reason is you cannot be able to take this medicine until you are well. Do not use the Flovent to treat an asthma attack that has already started. If you observe that your asthma symptoms are not improved after using it for 2 weeks then kindly contact to the doctor. If you think that any of your asthma medications are not working as well as usual then seeks medical attention first. The need of increasing medication shows a sign of a serious asthma attack. Always use peak flow meter at your home. And anytime if you observed that your number is lower than normal, call doctor immediately. If you are ill and under pressure or stress, had surgery before, or have recently had an asthma attack. Talk with doctor if any of the medication is not working well in treating or preventing asthma attacks.

Before using Flovent, tell your doctor if you had sick before or had any type of infection. You cannot be able to take this medication until you feel well. Till now it is not known that whether the Flovent is harmful to unborn baby. Before using Flovent, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or willing to plan to be pregnant during treatment. It is not known whether fluticasone passes into breast milk or not. Without consulting a doctor, do not take this medication if you are breast feeding a baby.
