Lasix is a loop diuretic which is used for treating congests heart failure and edema. It is commonly being marketed by Sanofi- Aventis under its chemical name as Lasix. It’s basically being used for treating hypertension and edema.

Lasix is an oral medicine for treating heart disorder failure and swelling. As it contains Furosemide, an active component which is being named as diuretic. It can be taken as orally or parent rally. The medicine effect gets by 6 hours. It’s also being used for lowering the risk of high blood pressure to avoid strokes.
Before taking Lasix:
Consult with your doctor before going to any medication of products. Prescription has to maintain for intake of the medicine. For any medication related query consult with your doctor or pharmacist. If you are prone to liver disease or heart disease are strictly prohibited for usage. The usual dosage of Lasix is about 20 to 80mg. For adults age more than 60 are prescribed to take lower dose. Intake of medicine has to be regular once in a day. Store the medicine at room temperature of 15- 30 celsius. Pregnant women should not Lasix as it causes severe side effects. For over dosage, immediate medical suspension has to be taken as it causes breathing difficulty. It is very effective medicine. In case of low blood sugar, sugar sources such as orange juice, glucose or milk can be consumed.
