Periactin(Cyproheptadine) :Allergy

Periactin (Cyproheptadine) is an antihistamine used to cure or hinder symptoms of fever and other allergies. It is used to abate itching related with few skin problems and to treat other conditions as disposed by your doctor. It may including be used for a hormone disorder, sexual function problems due to certain drugs, and eating disorders.
Important information: -
Use caution when driving, treating machinery, or performing other unhealthy activities. Atarax may cause dizziness or indolence. If you feel dizziness or dullness, avoid these activities. Use alcohol carefully. Alcohol can hike drowsiness and dullness while you are taking Periactin (Cyproheptadine).
Before taking Periactin: -
Before taking this drug, ask with your doctor if you have glaucoma or enhanced pressure in the eye; a stomach ulcer; an enlarged prostate, bladder troubles, or complication in urinating; an overactive hyperthyroidism; hypertension or any kind of heart problems; or asthma. You may not be fit to take Periactin, or you may need a lower amount or special monitoring during treatment if you have any of the conditions described. Avoid to taking Periactin if you have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) in the last 14 days. A very delicate drug interaction could occur, leading to serious reactions. Claritin is harmful in pregnancy. It will be injurious to an unborn baby. Do not take Claritin without asking to your doctor if you are pregnant or planning for baby. Claritin passes into breast milk and can influence a nursing newborn. Do not take Claritin without consulting to your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Take Claritin as suggested by your health provider.
