Spiriva
Spiriva (Tiotropium):Allergy
Spiriva is an anticholinergic medicine. Spiriva avoids close of the airways. Spiriva is used in the medicament of bronchospasm attached with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) such as chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
Important information: -
Spiriva is not decreed for use during intense bronchospastic attacks. It may not be able to open your airways and permit you to breath. Tiotropium is used to prevent attacks; it should not be used as a recovery remedy. It is very decisive that you use the tiotropium inhaler rightly, so that the medicine gets into the lungs. Consult with your healthcare provider about proper inhaler use. In ordinary cases, Spiriva has been correlated with the development of narrow-angle glaucoma, an eye disease. Meet your doctor urgently if you develop symptoms indicative of narrow-angle glaucoma such as eye pain or annoyance, blurred mirage, visual halos around objects, color abnormality, or redness of the eyes. Do not receive the powder to come into contact with the eyes. This may cause blurring of vision and dilation of the pupils. If acquaintance with the eyes eventuates, wash with water and focus medical attention if side effects occur.
How to use: -
Take Spiriva as suggested by your health provider. Read the information written insert your medication wrapper. If you didn't understand those instructions, ask your pharmacist or doctor to describe them to you. Tiotropium capsules are purpose for use in the inhaler implemented. Do not gulp the capsules. The tiotropium capsules should be freeze in the sealed blisters and only removed immediately before use. The medicine should be used quickly after the packaging over a single capsule is opened, or else its efficiency can be depreciated. If supplementary capsules are unintentionally exposed to air, they should be thrown away and not used. Separate an abscess card along the penetrated line. Peel back the aluminum foil until one capsule is fully open. Peel back the foil carefully only to the "STOP" line printed on the foil to interrupt exposure of more than one capsule. After using the first capsule, the 2 remaining capsules in the abscess strip should be used over the next 2 continuous days.
